Exploding Sprayers and Sunny Gardens

So much going on at the moment, where to start. Work has been crazy and exciting with all the attention of late that is being given to our Second Life Campus. While there is really no good excuse for letting a blog go a month without a real post, I am going to state that as my excuse anyway.

I couldn't be happier that spring is here. At the same time, the realization that mowing will once again have to fit into my schedule is nothing I am all that pleased about. Multiple rural acres are a beautiful thing but they are also a shithouse of work. I spent a couple evenings this week cleaning up a compost heap that was full of multiflora rose then turned and tilled it. I am going to plant a mix of wildflowers there. Last night I took the Roundup to the space to prevent any of the multiflora rose from coming back again. All went well until my sprayer exploded all over me and sent a stream of Roundup into the air across the lawn. That will look nice. Oh well, it's back by the woods, no one will notice right?;)

We ordered a "Sunny Garden" package for the bed right behind our house. The literature said that it would be shipped at just the precise time for planting. I got am email yesterday that it has been shipped already...hardly the precise time. The odds are still for a frost or two before mid-April in this area. If my "Sunny Garden" croaks as a concequence, I won't be pleased |:

Back in Business

After multiple days of a customer service train wreck with my ISP, iPowerWeb, I am back in business thanks to a VERY helpful individual in billing who helped me get keeseys.com pointed back at the old server. Thank goodness that the old files were still there and still in place. Why is it that competent people who provide positive customer service experience are such a rarity. I swear it gets worse and worse...or am I just getting older and older and losing tolerance.
