This CNN article left me speechless. My brother lives in Atlanta and often makes cracks about South Georgia. I had no idea just how bad it really is. They are just now getting this? I wonder if they have heard yet about the refrigerator and the microwave?

This has really become the "fodder for thought" blog lately eh? On that note, this video is very insightful. While he is specifically talking about the technology industry, his thoughts can just as easily apply to life in general.

I got an email from the marketing dept. at work last weekend that I should be ready on Monday morning to present the work that my unit has done in Second Life to Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. I gave myself a couple extra swipes of the deodorant that morning and even put on a suit for the occasion. Below are a couple of photos from the event. The first photo is of the back of my head as I shake the Governor's hand and answer a couple of his questions. The second photo is me showing Governor Strickland and University President Roderick McDavis a video about our Second Life Campus.
